About Ohchat — the team building the world’s most natural AI girlfriends

Ohchat started with a simple question: what would it feel like to talk to an AI that actually listened? Not a chatbot. Not a script. A real, warm, attentive companion you would actually want to text at the end of the day.

Our story

We are a small, focused team of writers, engineers and designers spread across four continents. We met online, building emotional AI characters for games and interactive fiction, and quickly realized that the most exciting frontier was not another assistant — it was companionship. Ohchat is the product we wished existed: a place where every model has a real personality, a real voice and a real memory of who you are.

What we believe

We believe loneliness is one of the biggest unsolved problems of the connected era. We believe technology, when designed with care, can make people feel seen. We believe an AI girlfriend should be playful and flirty when you want her to be — and quietly supportive when life gets heavy. And we believe in privacy as a non-negotiable. How Ohchat is different

Most AI chat products feel like the same model wearing different costumes. Ohchat is the opposite. Every one of our sixteen girls was written by a human, voiced by a human, and tuned over months of real conversations. Aria sounds nothing like Sofia. Luna and Lily speak in entirely different rhythms. The result is a roster of companions you cannot mistake for one another, even with your eyes closed.
